These Terms and Conditions are set out to clarify practical details in the use of this website, and in placing an order you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions by clicking the agreement button before proceeding with your order. If you have any queries please contact our office.

Frequently used terms

'Goods' refer to the items being purchased from the web site.

'Buyer' refers to the person or company purchasing the goods from the web site.

'Seller' refers to Stokes Packaging who offer these goods for sale from this web site.

'Sales Terms' refer to the requirement for the buyer to pay for the goods in full before the order is accepted as an order by the Seller.

Selling Prices

Selling prices indicated on this website are frequently checked and the seller reserves the right to adjust the selling prices if necessary. If a Buyer orders at a Selling price indicated and that selling price is about to be increased, the seller will advise the buyer of the new price and request approval before despatching the goods.

The buyer will be required to pay for the Goods selected, the Carriage and VAT applicable to the goods selected as set out and calculated on the website.

Payment

To calculate the delivered cost of an item, the product cost, carriage cost and VAT must be added together for the quantity you require.

Each product shows its weight for a given quantity, so that the total weight can be calculated and from that the carriage cost .

Payment can be made by posting a cheque to our office address, or you can make a payment to the Stokes Packaging 'Pay Pal' account which accepts credit card payments.

Delivery

Delivery of the Goods will be to the address given by the buyer on the order. A signature for receipt of the goods will be required by the delivery company. Delivery times are approximate only.

If the buyer is not there to receive the goods at the delivery address, the delivery company will leave an advice note regarding redelivery or local collection if applicable. If the delivery company incur extra costs for redelivery, this extra cost will be payable by the Buyer.

Cancellation

The Buyer can cancel an order for unprinted goods at any time up to the time of despatch. Repayments for cancelled orders will be refunded within 14 days.

Damage and Returns

If the Goods are damaged in transit, when the buyer receives them they should indicate to the driver the damage and sign their paperwork with a note recording the damage on the delivery companies paperwork. The Buyer should then notify Stokes Packaging of the transit damage within 48 hours. If the goods are not acceptable or useable due to the damage in transit as confirmed by the delivery company the seller will arrange for collection and replacement.

If goods are returned to the seller as goods incorrectly ordered, the return cost will be at the buyers expense. Under these circumstances the seller will deduct a fee before reimbursing the buyer for the returned goods.

If the buyer should receive goods from the seller that are not in accordance with the specification on the web site, the sellers liability is limited to the replacement of the goods supplied with goods of the correct specification.

Supply

The Seller will endeavour to hold sufficient stocks as listed on the website subject to the limitations of supply and demand. If goods ordered cannot be supplied within a few days of ordering and payment, the buyer will be advised of the approximate delivery date by email.

Liability limitations

The seller shall have no liability to a buyer for any delay in supply or delivery or damage to the goods that is caused by any event or circumstances beyond the sellers control including Acts of God, war, strikes, labour disputes, fire, flood, or other causes.

Stokes Packaging has endeavoured to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website. We do not however give any guarantee for its accuracy or completeness and will not be responsible for any errors or ommisions arising from any inaccuracy.

General

These Terms and Conditions do not exclude your statutory rights under English law.
